Academy Etiquette
Academy Etiquette
At Evolve Training Center, we’re committed to fostering a positive and respectful training environment for everyone. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our etiquette guidelines to help us maintain a welcoming and safe community:
1. Footwear
Kindly remove your shoes or flip flops before stepping onto the mats, and put them back on when you leave the mat area.
2. Jewelry
For everyone’s safety, please remove earrings and any other jewelry before training.
3. Gear Maintenance
Help us keep the training space clean! Wash your uniform and gear (gis, hand wraps, gloves) after each use.
4. Personal Hygiene
Good hygiene is crucial. If you have cuts or scrapes, ensure they’re properly taped up to prevent injuries or infections.
5. Timeliness
Arrive on time for class to ensure a focused and productive training experience for everyone.
6. Respect
Respect your coaches and teammates. Let the instructors lead the teaching, and always maintain a supportive attitude.
7. Health Considerations
If you’re feeling unwell, please stay home until you’ve fully recovered. Your health and the well-being of our community are top priorities.
8. Introductions
Take a moment to introduce yourself to classmates. In Jiu Jitsu, line up by belt rank along the wall; in Muay Thai, sit in belt rank order on the mats.
9. Coach Permission
Do not leave the mat without your coach’s permission. This ensures safety and helps maintain class flow.
10. Positive Environment
Keep a positive attitude and encourage your teammates. We grow stronger together!
Thank you for being part of the Evolve family and helping create a respectful, supportive training environment. We look forward to training with you!
