Our children’s programs are a great way for your kids to learn discipline, burn off energy, and make new friends.
Little Littles (Ages 4-6)
With this group we don’t train Jiu-Jitsu, we PLAY Jii-Jitsu. Through a combination of games and obstacle courses designed to mimic the movements used in our techniques and our simplified instruction your child will want to come back again and again as they are guaranteed to have fun learning while building self confidence and strong relationships with their fellow students.
Big Kids (Ages 7-9)
This group gets a little more serious with their training. These students are exposed to more techniques and begin to build systems of movement and develop muscle memory through situational drills and sparring that will allow them to execute these moves in pressured situations. No prior experience is needed to join as the instructors and students alike are eager to help new students learn the techniques. Within a few weeks you’ll be sure to see a noticeable difference in your child’s level of confidence on and off the mats.
10 to Teens (Ages 10-14)
Our most advanced class for our youngsters. The students here get a little deeper into the systems and concepts of Jiu-Jitsu with extensive situational drilling and sparring to mimic real world and competitive situations. Since this group is often considered to be young adults we tend to treat them as such, which is why this class is structured to mimic a mini version of our adult curriculum as we help to prepare them for their transition into adulthood.
There are a lot of class times available, including evening adult fitness classes that run the same time as the kids’ classes.ANGELICA T.
